QUICK DECEMBER 20TH RESULTS POST

After a controversial evening that saw a NEW SUPER ART FIGHT CHAMPION CROWNED, headlining band “The Comic Boys” turn out to be Japanese punk trio Peelander-Z and the blood-fued between Nick “Ghostfreehood” Borkowicz and Jami “Angry Zen Master” Noguchi taken to a new level, Super Art Fight ended 2008 with Super Art Fight III: Turbo.

Here are the evening’s results…

BOUT 1: ARTFIGHT BATTLE ROYALE
Nick “Ghostfreehood” Borkowicz
and Michael “Spaghetti Kiss” Bracco won the right to compete in the first-ever Artfight Tag Match, winning the crowds approval in a bout that also featured Chris “Impact” Impink and Jamie “Brawlin'” Baldwin.  This match saw a run in from Art Fight Champion Jami “AngryZenMaster” Noguchi, where he and Nick Borkowicz exchanged strong words.

BOUT 2: JOHNNYWANDER.COM TAG MATCH
Yuko “Witty Name Here” Ota
& Michael “Spaghetti Kiss” Bracco defeated Ananth “House of Pain” Panagariya & Nick “Ghostfreehood” Borkowiczin the first ever Artfight Tag Match. Art Fight Champion Jami Noguchi again attempted to intervene on Borkowicz’s bout, but Nick ended up injuring Noguchi’s drawing hand in the process.

MAIN EVENT: SUPER ART FIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Garth Graham
defeated Jami “Angry Zen Master” Noguchi to become the NEW Super Art Fight Champion.  Controversy abounds, as the audience reaction was too close too call, with the Artfight Championship Committee having to intervene.  If that wasn’t enough, Noguchi went down 40 minutes into the bout, causing him to be replaced briefly with Peelander Yellow.  The final decision of this match is being reviewed by the Artfight Championship Committee, and a resolution will be made in time for our next show, which will be showcased at Katsucon 2009.

Once again, we at Super Art Fight are very grateful for our fantastic turn out at the Ottobar this past Saturday night, and we look forward to seeing you at future events. Keep your eyes RIGHT here at SuperArtFight.com for more details on our next show, and check the updated Artfight rankings!

  1. Yeah, I injured his hand. JUDO CHOP, son!!
Angry Zen Master must learn patience if he is to defeat me, again. I know the time will come for justice. Until then, I will practice modulation with the Buddha and not seek revenge but redemption.
