SAF8 Main Event Controversy – Where Do We Go Next?

As you can see below, the Super Art Fight 8 main event voting has completed, and after a jawdropping 17,000+ votes, the victor with 52% of the vote is Chelsea “Grose Misconduct” Grose!

…or was she?

A fan of Super Art Fight e-mailed over a screencap taken just minutes after midnight EST, and it shows a very different outcome for the poll.

As of that time, Nick “Ghostfreehood” Borkowicz had 55%, with a commanding lead of 1500 votes!

So, what went wrong? Honestly – we’re not 100% sure.  Dealing with new polling software, the poll is/was set to close at midnight.  We’re looking into the logs of the poll to make a final decision.

That decision will be announced tonight, and rest assured, we will insure a quality main event for Super Art Fight 8!

Stay tuned to for more details, and tonight’s decision.

Thanks to Robert Stone for the screencap.

Clearly Robert Stone is part of the Borkowicz-Zombie-Industrial Complex. Everyone knows that screenshots can be manipulated and that clock settings can be altered. This is obviously misleading propaganda of the highest order!

How do you trust anyone with a Mafia Wars toolbar?!

This message is brought to you by dots. Big fucking dots.

He’s even got Nick’s facebook opened in the other tab. ::is suspicious::

Maybe Nick and Chelsea go at it in the penultimate bout of the night, and the winner immediately faces Baldwin. A test of stamina.

Isn’t the date and time properties box he has open WHERE YOU GO TO CHANGE YOUR COMPUTER’S DATE AND TIME?!

  5. Gluphokquen Gunih says:

    full disclosure:

I voted Bracco, and I’m just looking for excuses to complain.

  6. Ashley says:

I checked the count at midnight, and saw that you could still vote. I kept checking until 1am, and the votes were still going in. Nick was in the lead at midnight and still was at 1am when I finally stopped looking. There are other time stamps that can’t be altered on Facebook of people posting counts and times, you can see when they posted those.

  7. Rob says:

Yes screen shots and PC times can very easily be altered, but log files don’t lie! The truth will be told soon

  8. Lara says:

hmmm – I thought the poll was open through the midnight that ENDS 9/8, not the midnight that BEGINS 9/8. Thinking I wasn’t alone there, and that led to some of this confusion…

  9. greg says:

I have to wonder where the 17,000 votes came from. Why haven’t you people been selling out every single show?

  10. Marty Day says:

Lara, an understandable confusion, but the issue was more that the WordPress plugin we used didn’t shut off when it was scheduled to.

Never the less, we’re scouring the logs and intend to have a final decision tonight – one that we think will appeal to all fans.

Perhaps it shut off at Midnight, Pacific time???
