On Friday Night, March 16th, 2012, we return to the Ottobar for our first event there of 2012.
Back at the beginning of 2011, a team truly captured the audience, two unique characters in the Super Art Fight roster coming together to creating something truly unique. Alone, they were Nick “Ghostfreehood” DiFabbio and Kelsey “Killer” Wailes. Together, they were the crazily costumed Team Robozilla.
As a duo, they spearheaded the Super Art Fight tag division, and after almost a full year of hard work, they were crowned the first SAF Tag Champions. However, wary is the head (or in this case heads) that wear the crown, and in their first defense, Team Robozilla lost the tag belts.
For Wailes, a young gun, this was just the beginning of the next step of her career. For DiFabbio, this was enough to set him off.
DiFabbio, one of the co-creator’s of Super Art Fight, has battled long and hard to taste SAF gold, including a memorable feud in 2010 with then champion Jamie Baldwin for the SAF title – a feud which many say DiFabbio should have won. And don’t think those words haven’t weighed on his head.
For him, the tag division was to be a new beginning. A chance to show everyone how he was a member of the SAF elite. But his chance was taken out of his hands.
If you’ve watched our YouTube page, you know that after the show DiFabbio was absolutely furious, and threw away his partnership with Wailes. A dark side has begun to grow within him, and on March 16th, he wants to show everyone that there is a force to reckon with in the SAF roster.
So, live at the Ottobar, the team is over, as we will see….
Nick “Ghostfreehood” DiFabbio
Kelsey “Killer” Wailes
This is going to be a hard fought, intense and emotional bout, and there’s no better way to see it than seeing it live. Grab your tickets today.
