SUPER ART FEST Results: New Idol Crowned And Money Raised For An Incredible Cause!

Saturday, May 19th, 2012 will go down in Super Art Fight history as one of the greatest undertakings we’ve ever had.

12 hours of show. Live and streaming across the web, all to raise money for the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults, featuring Art Fights, Standup Comedy, and an amazing performance by Adam WarRock.

The centerpiece for the day was the 2012 Super Art Fight IDOL tournament. Taking eight talents, and placing them in a one day elimination tournament, with the winner gaining a full time roster spot in the Super Art Fight locker room.

All eight talents truly came to shine, and shine they did (even with some last minute substitutions), but at the end of the day, one artist came out on top – 2011 SAF Idol finalists, and 2012 SAF Idol winner – Ashley Harnden, or as she is now known, ASH SKETCH’EM.

Much like the 2011 tournament, this will not be the last time you see many of these talents, so it will be interesting to see who returns from the 2012 class.

The full SAF Idol 2012 results were as follows:

A great show by all eight competitors, who have to be commended for not just stepping up to the plate, but also putting on some of the most hotly contested bouts in SAF history.

Now, as mentioned, the entire event was designed to benefit the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. Since the show ended on Midnight Sunday, we’ve been working to get a final total for the show, and we’re proud to announce it.

Together, with your help, we have raised a total of $1675 to help out those in need.  We truly could not have done it without you.  If you’re still wishing to donate, the donation link remains live at the time of this writing, right here.

Thanks again to all who came out this weekend, to those who donated, and to The Metro Gallery for hosting us. We look to return to Baltimore this fall. As for what is next on our plate? Connection 2012. SEE YOU SOON, NEW ENGLAND!
