Hard to believe it all started so simple.
Just about five years ago, on June 1st, 2008, two men walked into the Ottobar’s upstairs, as an aside to a packed downstairs live event, set up a giant canvas and drew. The goal wasn’t to impress a crowd, the goal wasn’t to get cheers and applause, the goal was to just do it. And they did.
Since that fateful day, the event came to be known as Super Art Fight, it’s toured the country, it’s played before crowds as large as 2500. It’s been broadcast on the web, talked about on morning radio, mentioned in Wired and The Washington Post but above all, it was about one thing – bringing art to life in a new light.
So to celebrate five years of creative insanity, only one main event seemed right.
Saturday night, March 30th at The Ottobar in our hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, we return to where it all began.
