This Weekend, Our Los Angeles Return For ANIME EXPO 2013

ax

The crazy Summer 2013 tour rolls on this weekend as Super Art Fight heads back to the land of In ‘N Out, Los Angeles, CA for the second time this year, to be a part of the 2013 edition of Anime Expo!

Anime Expo is simply put the largest Japanese animation convention in the United States, and we are honored and humbled to bring our unique style of entertainment out west to be a part of the show.

We’ll be there all weekend long, vending in the Artist’s Alley, and bringing you not just one but two shows.

On Friday Night, July 5th, from 10:30pm-12:00am in Live Programming 2, we’ll be bringing you Super Art Fight UNLEASHED! If you’ve never seen us…well, this will be a unique introduction, as an UNLEASHED event allows our artists to indulge their sickest, darkest, most surreal and most horrifying artistic urges. It goes without saying, but this event is 18+ Only, and absolutely no photography or videos are allowed. Period.

That’s just a warm up for the main event, however, as on Saturday Night, July 6th, from 6:30pm-8:30pm we bring a proper Super Art Fight event to the Live Programming 2 stage. This is what put us on the map, this is what has allowed us to go nationwide, and we have a fantastic card lined up for you. Here’s what’s going down…

Jamie “Angry Zen Master” Noguchi vs. Guest Artist “Ginger Haze” Noelle Stevenson
Noelle made her first attempt at the canvas back at Awesome Con DC in April, and her clash with Baron Von Sexyful has gone down as a definite 2013 Bout of the Year Candidate. How will the Tumblr favorite do when pitted against SAF co-founder, and reigning (but not defending) champion Jamie Noguchi? Los Angeles will be ROCKED.

“Charm City Shinobi” Dann Malihom vs. Baron Von Sexyful
Both artists here have made their names in the SAF tag division, with Malihom holding the belts in the past, and the Baron as half of the current tag champions, Team Sexyfulness. But don’t doubt their singles prowess! The Baron is one of only two SAF roster members to be Super Art Fight Champion twice, and Malihom has some serious fire coming off of a major victory over Jamie Noguchi this past weekend.

The main event will pit the winners of each bout against each other to determine the top of the Anime Expo heap – will Los Angeles see Baron/Stevenson Round II? Will Noguchi and Malihom for the second time in as many weeks? The possibilities could have serious ramifications on the Super Art Fight Championship rankings and are sure to leave Los Angeles changed FOREVER*.

Join us this weekend, LA, as we take it to the West Coast one more time!

I’m pretty sure LA was changed forever. We couldn’t withstand ArtFight of that magnitude!

Well, lets hope it can withstand a second impact…
