SAF @ Katsucon: Iron Artist Highlight Videos!

Wow, our very own staff videographer Christina Crawley outdid herself this time.

Just days after our appearance at Katsucon 16 in National Harbor, Maryland wherein we had the honor and pleasure of hosting this year’s Iron Artist competition, we have 2 amazing highlight videos!

The first, seen above, is a full highlight music video.

If that wasn’t enough, we have a Speed Up video, condensing all 3 bouts into 1 minute of stunning footage!

Share it, vote for it, enjoy it – we’re really proud to have been a part of this weekend, and hope you enjoy reliving it as much as we do!

SAF6: Promo Video Is Go!

Full of awesome footage from Super Art Fight 5, we are proud to present our promo video for Super Art Fight 6, coming up on January 23rd at The Ottobar.

Cut together by our video production goddess, Christina Crawley, this video not only gives you a hint of what to expect at the show, but lets you know that you can control the outcome with the Wheel of Death.

Tomorrow night, the Wheel of Death topic post goes live. Get your topics ready and then see which ones hit the canvas on January 23rd!

SAF5: THE TAG PARTNERS ARE ANNOUNCED

This past weekend, the roving Super Art Fight camera team was with the crew at Tigercon 2009.

Tigercon was a heck of a fun time, but we had a heard a rumor that Bryan Prindiville had some answers about who was teaming with who in the Wailes v. Baldwin tag war on October 9th.

As you can see above, he revealed his loyalty.

But that wasn’t all for the SAF scoopsters.  We had our spies placed at Bethesda, Maryland’s SPX, and overheard a very important conversation between two prominent female webcomickers.

So, while as above, Kelsey Wailes went to her fellow SAF Do or Die Battle Royale survivor Bryan Prindiville, Jamie Baldwin looked outside of the traditional art fight pool, and took aim with a slingshot.

Not just any slingshot – some Girls With Slingshots.

That’s right. October 9th, at Super Art Fight 5, you will see a tag war unlike any other as it’s….

Bryan Prindivlle & Kelsey Wailes vs. Jamie Baldwin & Danielle Corsetto.

Be there for Corsetto’s debut! Be there for the biggest tag battle of all time! BE AT SUPER ART FIGHT 5!!

SUPER ART FIGHT 5: THE ANNOUNCEMENT

As the video above so clearly demonstrates, Super Art Fight 5 is coming, and it’s gonna be at a brand new venue!

On Friday night, October 9th, 2009 (that’s the night before Baltimore Comic-Con, for those of you keeping track), Super Art Fight invades the Metro Gallery (pictured below) for our senses-shattering fifth event.

A whole slue of details are still to be revealed, including the show roster for the evening, the card, the musical act, and so much more, but mark your calendars now so you can join us on October 9.

A big thanks to Todd from the Ottobar and Sarah at The Metro Gallery for making this show happen.

So, what do you think will happen at Super Art Fight 5? Give us your thoughts, opinions, dream matches and more in the comments.  And most importantly, keep an eye on this site, our Twitter, our Facebook and more as we announce details leading to SAF5!

SAF4: The Highlight Video!

On July 16th, 2009, Super Art Fight arrived to the Ottobar with something to prove.  SEVEN MONTHS since our last appearance, we knew we had to deliver, and I think it’s safe to say, we did in spades.

Now, thanks to this fantastic music video (cut together by the super talented Christina Crawley), you can relive the magic from Super Art Fight 4, or experience it for the first time!

SAF4: Michael Bracco Responds

So, Michael Bracco’s got a lot on his plate.

It’s not enough that he was voted Best in Baltimore by the City Paper…

He now has people forming alliances against him…

…and he’s got to defeat 3 of SAF’s best in Jami Noguchi, Nick Borkowicz and Garth Graham to win the Super Art Fight Championship on July 16th at the Ottobar at Super Art Fight 4.

So how is he feeling? Where is his head at?

Our roving film crew met him in front of a pretty sweet mural, so he can drop a lil’ knowledge heading into the biggest night of his Super Art Fight career.

Worried? I don’t think he is.
