The 2025 Season Begins with our returns to MAGFest and the Black Cat!
2025 is fast upon us, and with it, the beginning of yet another season of the Greatest Live Art Competition in the Known Universe. 2024 was a year of new faces, incredible matches, and new venues, and the new year brings us back to two of our favorite haunts.
January 23-26th, the Super Art Fight gang hops in their vehicles and heads due south, as we return to National Harbor for the latest installment of MAGFest! MAGFest is always home to some of the most intense and infamous Super Art Fight events and 2025 will prove no different. In addition, the SAF crew will be vending all weekend long, and more than that, we’ll be presenting our card game, including the first official looks at our forthcoming expansion — CUTE ANIMALS ON ICE!

Just one weekend later, Saturday, February 1st, Super Art Fight returns to our Washington DC home, the legendary Black Cat, as Fantom Comics presents Super Art Fight! That’s right, the coolest comic shop in the Nation’s Capital is teaming with your favorite live art throw down, and they’ll even be vending at the show! If that wasn’t enough, in addition to a full Super Art Fight card, we’ll be featuring the DC debut of Baltimore emo punk band Guyliner! The outside might be cold that weekend, but the action on stage WILL be hot, as only we can give it to you.

BUT WAIT! There’s, yes, EVEN MORE! As a part of our Road to the Black Cat, we’ll be presenting a very special workshop at Fantom Comics: Cartooning on the Fly with Super Art Fight! On Sunday, January 19th at 6:30pm, join members of the SAF roster for a hybrid cartooning class and Super Art Fight fantasy camp, as we bring the canvas for Fantom and show you how to do what we do best!
Seventeen years on, Super Art Fight continues to bring it, so bring yourselves to these massive season opener events!
